Mrs. Melissa Meadows

Mrs. Meadows, Assistant Principal

This will be Mrs. Melissa Meadows’ first year as Assistant Principal. Mrs. Meadows began her education career as a third grade teacher at Groveland Elementary School in 2006.  Over the past 9 years, she has worked as a classroom teacher and ESE teacher at Treadway Elementary School.  She has also served as a Lead Teacher in the Teacher Advancement Program, an ESE School Specialist, and Instructional Dean.  While serving as a teacher, she became a Lake County Teacher of the Year Finalist in 2015, Safety Coordinator, SAC Chair, and District CAC Chair. 

Mrs. Meadows graduated with a BA in Early Childhood Education, from Cleveland State University.  She also holds 2 Master’s Degrees from National University; one in Elementary Education and one in Higher Education Administration.

She is eager to return to her first home of Groveland Elementary and be a Panther again!  Mrs. Meadows looks forward to challenging students to work to their highest potential and working within the community to meet all the needs of our students!
