Mrs. Moses, Principal

This will be Mrs. Nichole Moses' first year as Principal at Groveland Elementary School. Prior to joining the Panther family, Mrs. Moses served as Assistant Principal at East Ridge Middle School, and a Prevention Specialist for Lake County Schools. In her past role as a Prevention Specialist, she aligned prevention programs and initiatives with district policies and Florida Statutes. She has served as a district instructional coach for K-12 new teachers and a classroom management trainer.  Prior to these roles, Mrs. Moses was a classroom instructor for 11 years teaching Physical Science, Earth Space Science, Physics, and all levels of Chemistry, including Advanced Placement. She has also served as Student Government Advisor and science department chair at East Ridge High School for 5 years.

Mrs. Moses commitments to understanding all aspects of education which shows in her vast amount of professional learning opportunities, her willingness to create programs to break down social, gender, castes, and ethnic barriers amongst students and staff. Mrs. Moses has served on Positive Behavior Intervention and Support Leadership Team and the District Emergency Management Team. She currently serves on the Student Code of Conduct & Policy Guide Committee, and UCF Chemistry Curriculum Alignment Board.

 Mrs. Moses’ enthusiasm, love of education, and experiences are seen daily in her interactions with students, families, faculty and staff of Groveland Elementary School.
